From 2003-2006 I worked at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners as their first Interactive Account Manager - focused solely on digital work for Saturn. The digital department was three people deep when I started, making it an exciting time to both learn the ropes in advertising and help shape the agency's digital offerings.
A few highlights from my time on Saturn include:
• Developed the strategy for and directed the redesign of Saturn.com. The project included reviewing and selecting development vendors and managing the integration of seven, third-party backend tools.
• Managed the 250,000-Mile Test Drive, an ad campaign that integrated Google Maps and click-to-play video. A first for Google as they moved beyond text-based advertising.
• Launched Saturn’s first mobile campaign in April 2006 in support of the launch of the SKY roadster.
• Managed annual budget forecasts and a $4MM online production budget.
• Managed a staff of 2.
